Hermes SMS Terms of Service

Hermes Personal SMS Agent is available only to its single pre-authorized owner. It is not a public subscription, customer product, marketing list, or messaging service for third parties. Access may be suspended if a message does not come from the authorized mobile number.

The authorized owner enrolls by texting START to the toll-free number supplied privately by the operator. By doing so, the owner agrees to receive recurring automated conversational and customer-care messages from Hermes Personal SMS Agent about commands, questions, task results, service status, and security.

Message frequency varies with use. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and no purchase is required. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reply STOP at any time to opt out. After opting out, the user may receive one final confirmation message. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for assistance or email ted@feedfilter.com.

The service may be used only for lawful requests within the owner’s authorization. It may not be used for unsolicited messaging, marketing, third-party surveillance, impersonation, harassment, unauthorized access, or instructions that violate law or another person’s rights.

Hermes uses automated software and AI systems that can misunderstand requests, return inaccurate information, or take an unintended action. The owner remains responsible for reviewing consequential actions, protecting the connected computer, and maintaining appropriate backups and access controls.

The service is provided as-is for personal use and may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for carrier delays, third-party outages, lost data, or indirect or consequential losses.

Use of the program is also governed by the Hermes SMS Privacy Policy. These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
