What the service does

This is conversational customer-care traffic for a single verified owner. It does not send marketing, promotions, bulk messages, or messages to third parties.

  1. Owner sends a request

    The verified owner texts a question or command from the single mobile number on the allowlist.

  2. Hermes works locally

    The request is passed to the owner’s Hermes agent, which can inspect and operate the owner’s Mac.

  3. A concise reply returns

    Hermes sends a task result, status update, or follow-up question to the same authorized owner.

Access and consent

The enrollment number is intentionally not published. It is provided directly to the sole authorized user.

  1. 1.The authorized owner receives the private enrollment number directly from the operator.
  2. 2.From the verified mobile number, the owner texts START to give express consent and activate replies.
  3. 3.The confirmation identifies Hermes, explains message frequency and rates, and provides HELP and STOP instructions.

Message frequency varies with use. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Hermes Personal SMS Agent is an independent personal project operated by Frederick Thayer as a sole proprietor. Frederick is the founder of Feed Filter LLC, which hosts this disclosure on its established website. Hermes is not a public Feed Filter product or customer offering.
